I’ve been working with the publishers on cover design stuff for the last week. The titles been changed since then, and I had to beg them for the privileges of designing my own font type, but things are running smooth now, and where coming to a very real outcome…

fun!

I like how you chose to draw the environment and all the little details that describe it.

It's a nice cover image.

Wow Josh, thanks for the heads-up, that's some really terrible news indeed. Looks like its back to the drawing board--my books a farce...

Okay, now I'm totally sold on this Gwango thing. GREAT picture. I was nibbling at the bait when I saw the yodeling cowboy, but now I'm hooked. I'll pitch the tent out in front of the bookstore and listen to my Sons of the Pioneers cd's next to the campfire until this shows up. Terrific feel to the whole collection and the sky in this one is particularly interesting to me. I've learned something new looking at it. Keep going.

Cool color scheme. I wish I could do that kind of background, the ground texture is specially great!

Heya.
You are one of a collection of Parpans who have visited my blog recently.
I noted already that I was surprised the blogging community was not swarming over your work.
They should be.

So who is doing the record Justin? Are you gonna take a swing at doing some lonesome dino and spur tunes?

Can't wait for your book!

Thanks for the comments fellow artists people! My confidence is at an all time high, and I can continue with another week of drawing enormous prehistoric reptiles.

Funny thing about all the comments on the subject of a Gwango record--I'm trying to sell that very same ideal to the publishers. The Ballad of a Lonesome Prehistoric Reptile I'll call it!!! Can any of you guys yodel with a tumbleweed twang?
