Happy Halloween

“The cries behind the locked house doors grew more and more exasperated as shadows of boys flew by windows. Half-dressed boys, greasepaint on their cheeks; here a hunchback, there a medium size giant. Attics were still being rummaged, old locks broken, old steamer chests disemboweled for costumes.”

-Ray Bradbury, The Halloween Tree

Here’s a Halloween card I recently sent out.

  2. If we're quoting Bradders gimme a moment while I dig out my copy of "Something Wicked This Way Comes" - classic book!

  5. Thanks chums!

Mattias, the top image of the kid running is a self portrait. The Halloween Card is kind of sort of based on me...at least the ginger hair and unshaven mug portions.

Jo Bling and Jared, the pleasure was all mine my fellow amigos!

    Thanks Brian.

  20. Why didn't I get one??

    ReplyDelete
  21. For the simple reason that you didn’t help me make Frankenstein Masks for all those little tots in Mrs. Helberg’s 3rd Grade class Yesterday. You made them sad, Josh, and I’m the type that holds a grudge -- sorry.

But if you really want a card you can print this crummy Blog version out?

  22. wassup dude, how are you hanging? I haven't talk to you or your bro for a long time. Got a cel phone yet? I still have my bird costume, too bad it doesn't actually give me flying power.
